John Kuzmanich Biography

John Christopher Kuzmanich was born August 28th, 1968 at Good Samaritan Hospital in downtown Portland in Oregon's 1st district to John and Sue Kuzmanich. John's father was an immigrant to Portland who fled communist Yugoslavia for a better life for himself and his future family. Sue, his mother, grew up on a farm in Iowa. The family moved west and transplanted to the Columbia River Gorge looking for a better life. He has two younger brothers, Kevin and Ryan. The Kuzmanichs own and operate a family run transportation, trucking, and logistics firm out of Portland. John Jr. spent his formative years with his family living and working in and around the city of Chicago. This is where John learned real life skills and hard work in the tough competitive business climate that is Chicago. Thirteen years ago John returned to his native Oregon and currently resides in Oregon's 1st district.

John Kuzmanich is a graduate of the University of Iowa. He has a B.S. in Economics, with an emphasis in Finance, Business Administration and Political Science. He has a love of books second only to his family and those close to him. He has a passionate lifetime love of history and a deep concern for the future direction of his country and mankind.

John currently serves his community as the President and owner of U.S. Nationwide Mortgage, Inc., a residential and commercial finance company located in the Portland metropolitan area. He has worked hard to help those in his community navigate the current tough financial times we find ourselves in.

As a business owner and an expert in mortgage finance, real estate, economics, and job creation, John's experience and education is extremely relevant and highly needed in order to tackle all the issues that currently ail and undermine our great state and country.

John is a firm believer in the ideals of liberty, freedom, and equality as espoused by the founding fathers and laid out in our beloved U.S. Constitution and accompanying "Bill of Rights."

John believes it is his duty to serve his family, community, his principles, his district, state, and country by applying all that he is to the task of making our nation and our government the best that they can be.
